Collection and use

We collect data via the contact form on our website, email, over the phone, in person and through contact made on LinkedIn or other social media platforms. This would typically include your name, the name of the organisation you work for and contact details. We use this data to communicate with you about your requirements, and to develop quotations and contracts where appropriate.


Should you proceed with one of our services, we would also request financial information to allow us to create and send invoices. We may additionally request and use data to improve our services and how these are marketed, and to comply with any applicable laws, regulations or legal processes.

Our website uses cookies to help improve the functionality of the site and to provide a more personalised experience – you can find out more about these including how to opt out in our Cookie Policy.


Storage and retention

Data is stored locally on a hard drive and backed up to a personal cloud both of which are password protected and accessible only by those employed by Taylor Written HR.

 

Personal data will be retained for a maximum period of up to 18 months from the date of last invoice to facilitate repeat custom, after which point it will be deleted.


Sharing

Taylor Written HR will not share personal data with third parties. If there is ever a need to do so, we will contact you with the specific details of this and to ask for your express consent in writing.


Taylor Written HR may use an anonymised version of content created for you as part of a portfolio to share with prospective clients.  If you would prefer that work for you is not featured, please confirm this in writing.


Your rights

Under the UK GDPR, in relation to the personal data we process, you are able to exercise your rights to:

  • Access – request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Rectification – correct any inaccuracies.
  • Erasure – request we delete data relating to you.
