To implement any change successfully, engaging those it will affect is key. Early involvement in shaping what that 'thing' is and how it will work is ideal but not always practical. A clear plan for communication, implementation, and review will help to ensure all stakeholders are included and receive timely, helpful information with avenues to input as appropriate.
